This Apple Cider Vinegar Brand Cured My Dermatitis

Us beauty fanatics love the latest or upcoming ingredient craze that sweeps the nation overnight. When coconut oil became the next best thing since sliced bread, a versatile, all-rounder ingredient that withheld so many health and beauty benefits that consumers were applying this multipurpose wonder like no tomorrow. Coconut oil sure had its spotlight moment until Apple Cider Vinegar came along and stole it’s ‘celebrity status’ so to say.

By now, Apple Cider Vinegar is something you may have heard of, and if you haven’t, I would be shocked, to say the least. Like coconut oil, ACV is extremely talented, there are so many ways to implement this ingredient into your current lifestyle, and one being skincare.

I was extremely lucky to receive a selection of AppleBiotic products all the way from Texas. A brand that couldn’t be any more relatable to my current needs. Founder, Yelena created AppleBiotic after discovering the basics of household ingredients in her very own home could cure her son’s Seborrheic Dermatitis. It wasn’t an overnight miracle, trial and error became a common thing until a formulation was perfected.

Over on Facebook Messenger, I discussed my personal issues with Seborrheic Dermatitis and how using one cortisone ointment was the only cure to treat my ongoing skin problem. Since I was diagnosed in my early teens, I’ve tried various natural remedies to treat and cure the issue, but I’ve always resulted back to over-the-counter ointment.

The Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse from AppleBiotic is one I will definitely, and I mean definitely purchase after using up my generous sampling. Within the first application, my scalp became less itchy and sore from the moment I began to gently massage the liquid into my hair. Who knew this ancient ingredient could work so rapidly! As directed, I left the product on my slightly dampen hair for 3 minutes, this allows the raw apple cider vinegar to remove the common hair build-up that everyday shampoos and conditioners leave behind. Not only that, this rinse works as a treatment by absorbing into the hair shaft to provide a thicker, healthier-looking appearance. The epidermis (top layer of skin) is calmed and soothed from itchy scalp conditions. This is a true one-of-a-kind hair treatment!

The apple cider fragrance isn’t for everyone and that’s completely fine, for me. Does it resemble the classic and distinctive aurora of malt vinegar? Nope, think again. It smells somewhat invigorating and deep-cleansing with a hint of floral, but that’s my opinion.

This Apple Cider Vinegar Brand Cured My Dermatitis

With the brands ‘less is more’ approach to the use of 12 simple ingredients. It’s obvious even to the blind-eye that the AppleBiotic team have done their investigation and research into natural skincare.

Some well-known brands just don’t follow the same principle and that’s a deep shame. Where’s the commitment and care quality for their clientele. Mister Wharff

With the calming, soothing effects of Aloe, Chamomile and Green Tea. The input of Niacinamide corrects the weakened surface from irritation. You can only imagine what a relief effect this may have for your hair and scalp concerns.

Next up and an exciting one for me as this is quite literally a game-changer, is the Apple Cider Vinegar Facial Wash. What a ‘Royal Gala’ this was to use. With an amino acid-based surfactant, a natural formulation that gently but thoroughly cleanses problematic skin whilst acting as a treatment cleanser during the application process. The trio of chamomile, green tea and niacinamide work to calm and discourage the appearance of facial redness on the skin. The key ingredient, Apple Cider Vinegar soothes irritation from current skin issues such as acne, dermatitis and eczema. I have to say, this didn’t aggravate my skin but instead, provided a sense of comfort and relief.

Don’t expect a huge amount of foaming action but do expect an almost rich, velvety cream lather from derived coconut oil and fermented cane sugar. Best yet, your skin will feel as crisp as a freshly ripped apple!.

Exfoliating will always remain on top of the leader board when it comes to skincare,  wouldn’t you agree? I don’t want to alarm you but here’s another one with an infusion twist of Apple Cider Vinegar, of course. Unlike other pads on the market that contain the delights of glycolic, lactic or Salicylic acids, AppleBiotic wanted to create a product with a more natural approach, and I believe they have cracked it.

Each individual pad is soaked with AppleBiotic’s gold standard formulation that consists of Apple Cider Vinegar, Probiotics and soothing agents. Applying a pad after cleansing provides a sensational skin feel that you would only get from these invigorating cell-renewal pads from AppleBiotic. The difference between these pads compared to most high-street versions on the market is that you will instantly feel hydrated from the first application, hydration that also reflects one’s appearance. Not only will these hydrate a quench-thirsty complexion but also work to repair and heal those sensitive skins that may easily react with exfoliating products.

The serum, and from my own experience using the product for a good two weeks or two, it’s one that’ll make your skin look uniformed and even-toned from every angle possible. This is one to consider purchasing without hesitation.

The Day and Night Cream both offer a similarity of performance and results, although I much prefer the richness of the night version. My only gripe about the AppleBiotic Day Cream is that I wish it was a little more hydrating for my skin, but having said that, I’m certain many users have thoroughly enjoyed using this best-selling product. After using the restorative night cream, it somewhat gave my skin a ‘detoxify appearance’, a brighter, more fresh-faced complexion. There’s also an eye cream that I was quite astounded by, I love how it gave my eye area that awakening, illuminated appearance.

Happy Monday, folks! 🖤Blimey, hasn't this yea Happy Monday, folks! 🖤Blimey, hasn't this year flown by. I decided to take some time out and focus on what makes me smile. 😁It's my 1st Anniversary working at @sknrgskincare and I have learnt so much. As an open field, your life is limitless. 🌾D As an open field,
your life is limitless. 🌾Dealing with COVID-19 wasn't great, it became an unwanted memory. I was lucky to beat it. The worst part? The recovery process. I am yet to feel back to the "old John". This may take days, weeks or even months. Every day is a different day, some days are better than others. From the shortness of breath to feeling exhausted. You could quite simply call this a "rollercoaster of a ride". 🎢On a positive! The 10-day isolation was the break I needed, and although I felt horrendous, I used my "covid break" to self-develop by reading @unsahmalik "SLASHED E-Book". (I am only on Page 60 and already I have required new profound knowledge). On other days, I rested whilst slathering on my @goldfadenmd Facial Detox Mask (if you love sulfur, you'll love this even more!) and cocooning my hands with the @SKN_RG Therapeutic Hand & Nail Cream (by far the best smelling hand cream around!). Finally, finishing off with a generous amount of @sundayriley Luna Sleeping Night Oil (believe the hype, this stuff is "the holy grail of retinol").My taste and smell 99% went, I couldn't even smell bleach, but these were the very few products that I could "ever so slightly" smell.
(so thank you, still being able to smell something gave me hope 🙏). Life is limitless, you can achieve the impossible if you re-direct your mind to a positive state (even in a difficult situation).Mister Wharff x
