First Look: CBD Infused Skincare From Groomarang

CBD Infused Skincare From Groomarang

From styling beards to high-performance skincare, Groomarang is the one-stop place for all your grooming needs…

Who would have thought that a single ingredient could cause such a wave within the health and beauty sector, I’m talking about CBD, a natural alternative solution that treats a variety of health concerns. From easing pain and discomfort to calming stressful minds and anxiety, CBD is most certainly an all-round hit ingredient. Wouldn’t you agree?

So, how beneficial is CBD when applied onto the skin? Does it make you high as a kite? Does it boost the skins complexion to the max? Why should you invest in CBD Skincare? Continue reading as I uncover with you the results of using CBD on the skin, and one male grooming brand that has superbly infused this trendy ingredient into their upcoming collection…

Groomarang, the original makers of the two size teeth comb designed to ensure the modern man has the perfectly shaped beard with an on-trend style. With a little assistance and guidance from the Groomarang comb, you can forget the past of a badly shaped beard and say bye bye forever. After the release of their first skincare line that tackled the daily life of a modern man, equipped with a multivitamin dose from a trio of treatment cream-gels for morning and evening use.

But for now, let’s discuss this ‘bang on-trend’ ingredient, that is CBD.

A luxurious, yet affordable body & face wash from Groomarang is one to keep in the gym-bag at all times – add an extra bottle to have in your bathroom, too – this all-in-one body wash will revive, soothe and cleanse away the bucket of sweats you endured during an intense workout session. It foams gently without stripping the skins natural barrier, I like to massage the product all over dampen skin, paying close attention to the specific muscle groups I worked on that day, it really does calm and reduce muscle tension which for me is an absolute godsend. The added grapefruit fragrance provides an uplifting experience while counteracting the CBD smell, having said that, you can smell a ‘slight’ whiff of the CBD extract but in my humble opinion, it’s quite the unique, relaxing scent you definitely need to discover for yourself.

A matte-formulation moisturiser such as the Groomarang Face Moisturiser is one for the guys who prefer a less shiny complexion. Personally, I found this a little too matte for my taste but on a positive note, its smooth spreadability and skin-quenching properties shouldn’t stop you from testing this bad boy of a product. Prunus Dosmestica Oil is added into the facial moisturiser for its lightweight feeling, an oil that improves the skins barrier function without feeling heavy or pore-clogging. 150mg of cannabis extract is added to soothe and calm current skin irritations. Another product to have on stand-by or thrown into your beloved gym bag.

There’s also a body moisturiser that’s ever so slightly richer than the facial version due to the pampering cocoa butter. Continuing the collection’s roots, Cannabis extract is also added into the mix, ideal to use on fatigue muscles from lifting those heavy free weights at the gym. If you’re a gym fanatic like myself then this particular product from the range is one to seriously consider purchasing.

You will be shocked to discover that I’ve never really ‘fallen in love’ with a serum. I find most of them are unnecessary to have in par of your current skincare routine, but don’t get me wrong, finding a serum that truly does deliver can feel like a success.

Adding a facial serum in your skincare regime will make a world of difference to your current complexion – if you’ve found ‘the one’ – Groomarang had to create a serum in conjunction with the rest of their standing CBD collection, and what I find rather fascinating about this serum is the formula. How bizarre this is going sound it’s very much like a nourishing oil rather than a serum as described. I was in fact pleasantly surprised by how it glided over the skin, absorbing into the pores like a freshly new sponge. Grapevine and coconut oils cocoon the skin against environmental aggressions. Vitamin C and E provide antioxidant protections, while the ‘hero ingredient’ cannabis extract soothes overreactive skin.

I’m so undecided on CBD, it seems to be in just about everything at the moment and I can’t decide whether it’s just a fad or actually worth while xx
