Recover Your Skins Bloom With Rose Petals From Elemis

Recover Your Skins Bloom With Rose Petals Mister Wharff

“Why is it no one ever sent me yet
One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it’s always just my luck to get one perfect rose…”

Elemis has been one of those brands that have never failed to impress me over the years of first discovering the brand. Their post-shave recovery mask was a product that truly took me by surprise in terms of effectiveness, a treatment product that had the ability to instantly calm and desensitise my skin from a wet close shave, a definite skin saviour for easily reactive skin.

Over the years, I have been closely watching Elemis unleash and create new and excitable product launches including their ‘fresh appeal’ Superfood range, a line of nutrient-dense skincare that combines the goodness of probiotics. (You can read my thoughts on the Superfood Kefir-Tea Mist here that could well end up in your online shopping basket).

It’s no secret that many of us are fans of Rose scented products, it’s a scent that never expires or becomes out-dated within the beauty and fragrance industry. Until now, I would have never thought in a million years that Rose would become part of my skincare routine.

Continue reading as I share with you a duo of rose-infused products from the No.1 British Spa Brand, that is Elemis…

With their iconic, and best-selling Pro-Collagen range that combines clinically proven youthful-boosting ingredients to combat the signs of skin ageing, not forgetting to mention increase hydration, all in just 14 whole days. Elemis decided to up the ‘rose dose’ within the existing pro-collagen line and create two brand spanking new products based on a combination of 17 rose species, known as the Elemis’ Rose Oleo Extract. These two exciting additions to the pro-collagen range may come at a higher cost than your usual skincare re-purchases, but I see it as an investment for your skin in the long-run. You could, quite easily pick-up a dupe and have a great experience but in no shape or form will you experience the true luxury and exceptional results from any other brand like Elemis.

Beginning with the intriguing Rose Hydro-Mist, a product most definitely for face mist lovers that offers a slight twist, and here’s why. A hybrid of a result-driven serum and a refreshing mist in one single spray, this unique serum-misting product promises to soothe, hydrate and refine the skins’ appearance, and I have to completely agree with the products description, my skin has never looked or felt this good from using a facial mist before. At first, I wasn’t expecting the product to dispersed as dense but then I realised that not only is this a facial mist, but a serum too. Pretty cool right? I do prefer to apply the product onto freshly-cleansed hands and then apply using my fingers, massaging the product in circular motions. You can, like a normal human-being and use as directed by misting over the entire face and neck if you’re feeling really experimental.

The ingredients, Rosa Damascena Water and Hybrid Flower Water combined together to help uplift skin dullness whilst having a positive astringent effect on the skin, reducing excess oil and imperfections. Little did we know that extracts of Rose encourage collagen production. Pavlova Lutheri and Padina Pavonica work in synergy to provide algae nutrients into the skin to provide a relaxed, radiant complexion. With a dozen of different Rose extracts infused into this 50ml size bottle, Elemis have most certainly hit the nail on the head with this must-try release. You can purchase the Elemis Rose Hydro-Mist here (£43.00).

Following the theme with Rose infusion, we have the Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil, a delicate, lightweight touch skin oil that hydrates and nourishes in one single drop (and I’m not even kidding!). A family-owned farm at the heart of the English countryside exclusively provides the 17 variety of Rose petals for this soothing facial oil from Elemis. Roses are hand-picked to retain their high quality for skincare benefits, the petals are then carefully soaked in safflower oil for two whole days, this provides the most exhilarating, sensual experience you could ever possibly imagine from a rose-inducing product. I’ve been implementing this facial oil during my nighttime routine straight after applying the hydra-mist and I can truly feel and see a visible difference in the appearance of my skin.

Like most oils, I was delighted to see a dewy, radiant complexion, but this particular facial oil offered something quite magical, a mood-uplifting effect which I could only put it down to the use of the variant of Roses injected inside this latest release of Elemis. Elemis’s Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil is available here (£67.00).

Will you be introducing Rose-infused products into your skincare routine? These two products mentioned above are both suitable for all skin types, including the sensitive souls. This is a gifted feature in partnership with Elemis.
