paid collaboration in partnership with Annabelle Minerals
Unbeknown to many, mineral makeup was my go-to during the college years. It became a staple-piece within my backpack, an item I could rely on if my skin needed a ‘top-up’ midday time. For years, mineral makeup revolutionized the way we looked at makeup. A blendable, seamless powder that gives a ‘second skin’ finish to all skin types.
In addition, acne sufferers appreciated the light-weight, non-clogging formulas. These pots of wonder may not look that special to the eye, but it is the inside that counts!
Established out of love. Annabelle Minerals believed that every man and woman is beautiful from the inside. Moreover, Annabelle Minerals wanted people to be aware and conscious of what is going to be externalized from any product applied.
Annabelle Minerals contains skin-friendly mica that adds a luminous, natural finish, as well as zinc oxide to treat troublesome blemishes. Not only, but Iron oxide, an ultramarine colouring is also added to provide safe colouring.
With 3 unique formulas and a whooping 22 skin shades to choose from. This mineral-based makeup brand from the beautiful country of Poland is here to maintain good skin health.
I was kindly sent over two shades for me to experience (beige fair and beige light) along with a super cute Kabuki brush. As well as the STAY CALM multifunctional oil: specially created for those with sensitive to dry skin. My skin can become delicate during the Winter season, so I like to follow the ‘less is more’ approach by using fewer ingredients and products in my skincare routine. This is when Annabelle Minerals comes to play!
Low-maintenance, the mineral foundation provides even coverage that you can easily build-up without looking cakey or ‘made up’. Apply with your trusty Kabuki brush in light circular motions, starting from the centre blending outwards. Remember to use the remaining over ears, neck and decolletage. After all, your neck area is just as important, so don’t neglect it.
In conclusion, the mineral powder stayed put and kept its colour throughout the day. Both shades sent to me were perfect, however, shade beige fair gave my skin that warmth and vibrancy whereas beige light uniformed my natural complexion. I did have to use the kabuki brush midday, just to brush off any excess oil but that wasn’t an issue.
Proven in tests, Annabelle Minerals helps to reduce the appearance of skin inflammation. For me, this is a bonus. As someone suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis, I need to maintain my skin guard to the maximum. Protecting my outer skin layer is important to prevent an uproar of dermatitis.
Finally, Annabelle Minerals created a trio of multifunctional oils to work in harmony with the mineral foundation. Annabelle Minerals sent the CALM multifunctional oil (as stated above).
What’s inside? Hemp seed oil protects and prevents the skin from becoming dry. Lemon peel oil acts as a gentle astringent, clarifying and refining the skin’s appearance. Furthermore, coconut and sunflower oil comforts and nourishes due to its “good fats” content.
Use this oil as a splendid face and eye makeup remover, but this multitasking oil can also be applied as the following:
Be minimal with makeup, embrace a natural-looking complexion. Trust me, your skin will thank you in the long-run.
