3 Skin Ingredients To Trend For 2020 from Revolution Skincare

Makeup Revolution. A brand we all fell in love with at sight. The eye-catching packaging and budget-friendly prices are what we live for, oh, did I forget to mention their formulas are second-to-none. Well, apart from a few hiccups along the way this ever-growing brand is forever creating mouth-watering palettes to entice the makeup king or queen of this century. Talk about brand growth! Revolution Skincare was born with the intention to bring full transparency whilst ‘creating a crack’ between brands that offered high-performance products with a high price tag -to- brands that supplied affordable skincare but with little pay-off. Revolution Skincare squishes right in the middle offering the ‘best of both worlds’ to address a multitude of skin concerns for each and every individual — that includes YOU!

Let’s take a dive into this blog post, shall we?

Taking inspiration from k-beauty we have Tiger Grass infused skincare. A plant that Tigers actually love to roll around in to heal infections and wounds (yes, it’s a real thing!) — hence the intriguing name. Now, luckily for us, we don’t have to roll around in this Asian growing plant, but who’s to judge? Known as ‘CICA’, Revolution Skincare created and perfected their very own range to treat those sensitive ones with easily reactive skin types.

Realistically, sensitive skin or not, anyone can indulge in a spot of tiger grass, like myself. I’ve been using the CICA Serum and I have to say, it’s one of the very few products that’ll calm and comfort my skin with one pump of application. Chamomile and Bisabolol are also added into the whisking bowl to further reduce possible skin sensitivity. Lightweight, fully absorbent and remarkably hydrating, this particular product from the CICA range should be considered as your next serum purchase. Take a peek here

We’re all living a CBD moment, who isn’t? This hype ingredient doesn’t seem to be going off on a long jog anytime soon, it’s here to stay! Revolution’s own take on CBD is pretty impressive, and for the value for money, one shouldn’t complain in the slightest.

Gently formulated with beginners in mind, the blend of Cannabis Sativa Oil and Cannabidiol calms irritated skin, and it really does. There’s also a dose of sodium hyaluronate to inject deep hydration. This lightweight, pleasant serum has somewhat become a miracle healer for my skin over the past week or so, applying my all-time lotions and potions has become a no-go for some sudden reason.

The change of weather, our diet, and stress levels make a big impact on how our skin behaves, we all know that. Be prepared for the next skin mishap with a bottle of CBD from Revolution Skincare. Get your very own bottle here here

P.S. There’s also a super strength version for extreme dry skin! Available here

Is it a mist, an essence or a berry flavoured cocktail? If you have a good imagination, then probably all three, but realistically we’re discussing a hybrid of two that create one delicious facial spray. A couple of squirts over the skin will provide you with a supercharged, fresh-faced complexion. But let’s discuss this mist in fine detail…

Lycium fruit, Blueberry and Elderberry provides the skin with antioxidant protection thanks to this synergy blend of fruity goodness. Not only that, your skin will feel deeply replenished, ready to receive further skin treatments. Best of yet, you can apply this whenever you feel like it, and quite literally. After cleansing the face, for a quick skin pick-me-up when that afternoon slump hits or to freshen up your make-up midday. You’ve gotta look your absolute best, right? Discover the Superfruit Essence Spray here

Why not try this simple, yet effective routine with these three products?

After cleansing, apply the Superfruit Essence mist over the face and neck, inhaling the berry goodness scent from the nose, believe me, you’ll instantly feel better! Who doesn’t with joyful, berry scents? Whilst the skin is slightly damp, apply your chosen serums, or both if you’re feeling adventurous, apply the two together and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back for being a little daredevil. Go on, make this year your year.

I’ve never been a makeup rev fan I think it’s because there’s no originality there and it makes me want to not try their products xx
